Edo State University Uzairue (ESUI), formerly known as Edo University Iyamho, has officially started the registration process for its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise. The university is inviting qualified UTME and Direct Entry candidates to apply for admission into its various undergraduate programmes. 

Overview of the Screening Exercise

The 2026/2027 admission screening exercise is open to candidates who meet the university's admission requirements. Both UTME and Direct Entry applicants can now complete their registration before the closing date.

• Application Opens: 12 June 2026

• Application Closes: 31 August 2026

Candidates are advised to complete their registration early to avoid last-minute issues. 

Screening Fee

The screening fee for all applicants is:

• UTME Candidates: ₦2,000

• Direct Entry Candidates: ₦2,000

The fee is non-refundable. 

Transfer Application Fee

Students seeking transfer admission from other universities to Edo State University are required to pay:

• Transfer Application Fee: ₦60,000

This fee is also non-refundable. 

General Cut-Off Mark

To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must score:

• 150 and above in the 2026 UTME

However, some competitive programmes may require higher scores depending on the course chosen. 

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the ESUI Post UTME or Direct Entry Screening, candidates must:

1. Have participated in the 2026 UTME and scored at least 150.

2. Choose Edo State University Uzairue as their first-choice institution, or be willing to change to the university through JAMB CAPS.

3. Possess the required O'Level credits for their chosen course.

4. Direct Entry candidates must have registered through JAMB and meet the university's Direct Entry requirements.

5. Be at least 16 years old on or before 30 September 2026.

6. Upload their O'Level results to JAMB CAPS before the deadline.
