Good news for students aiming to join the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA)! The academy has officially extended the deadline for its 78 Regular Course application, giving interested candidates more time to complete their registration.

Originally scheduled to close on April 30, 2026, the application window will now remain open until May 15, 2026. This extension is meant to give more qualified applicants the opportunity to properly finish and submit their forms without rushing.

According to the academy, the decision was made to ensure that no eligible candidate misses out due to time constraints or delays during the application process.

What Applicants Should Know

Even with the new deadline, certain requirements remain the same:

Candidates must register with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The NDA must be selected as the first-choice institution.

Applicants are also expected to sit for the 2026 UTME.
