Good News for Candidates: JAMB Reveals Date for 2nd Batch UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has shared an update that many candidates have been eagerly waiting for the release of the second batch of 2026 UTME results.

In a recent announcement, JAMB explained that candidates who sat for the exam on Friday, April 17, 2026, should expect their results before midnight on Saturday.

This second batch follows closely behind the first set of results, which were released just a day earlier for candidates who wrote the exam on April 16. The quick turnaround has surprised many, as UTME results in previous years often took longer to process.

However, there was a slight delay in releasing the second batch as initially scheduled. JAMB later apologize, assuring candidates that the results would be made available before the end of Sunday, April 19, 2026.

The board also reminded candidates that UTME results are released in phases, not all at once. This means if your result is not yet available, there’s no need to panic — it will be uploaded once processing for your session is complete.

How to Check Your Result

Candidates can easily check their scores by sending:

UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
