Pantami Foundation to Train 200 Youths from Bauchi State on Phone Repairs, Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity
The Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami Foundation (PIP Foundation), under the leadership of Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has announced a new initiative aimed at empowering young people through modern digital skills. The programme will train 200 youths from Bauchi State in three highly demanded technology fields:
Mobile Phone Repair
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Cybersecurity
This training is designed to equip youths with practical, marketable digital skills that will help them become self-reliant, competitive, and productive in today’s rapidly advancing technological world.
Part of a Bigger Plan to Train 10,000 Youths
The Bauchi training is part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to train 10,000 youths across Gombe State and neighbouring states in the North-East.
The goal is to reduce the digital knowledge gap in the region and create opportunities for young people to learn modern tech skills.
In addition to the training, participants will receive:
Starter kits to enable them begin work immediately
Tools or financial support after the programme
Guidance on how to start, manage, and grow their tech-related businesses
This support ensures that beneficiaries not only acquire skills but also have the tools and confidence to start earning an income.
Previous Success Recorded in Gombe State
In August 2025, the Foundation successfully trained 250 youths in Gombe State through a three-week intensive programme focused on phone repairs, AI, and cybersecurity.
All beneficiaries were provided with tools after the training to help them begin their work, and many of them have already set up small businesses or started offering tech services.
