On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the Mirriah department proudly hosted scouts from the Zinder region in one of its beautiful gardens, providing an ideal natural setting for a weekend camp centered around brotherhood, learning, and civic engagement.

This exceptional day was filled with dynamic activities, educational and fun games that promoted teamwork, as well as enriching moments of discussion. The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the thematic conference on "Youth Unemployment", brilliantly delivered by Professor Yahaya Badamassi. His talk deeply resonated with the young participants, shedding light on the challenges of professional integration in a period of national rebuilding. The professor emphasized the need for Nigerien youth to equip themselves with practical skills, to pursue entrepreneurship boldly, and to unite in building a prosperous future.

Following this inspiring conference, the campers took part in a training session focused on fundamental scouting, a crucial step in reinforcing the values and principles of the scouting movement. This session was led by Deputy Commissioner for Training, Chief Akela, and Project and Programs Officer, Chief Abdoul Djalil, both of whom captivated the audience with their passion and commitment.

The weekend camp concluded joyfully and warmly with a group photo, a true symbol of unity and an everlasting memory of these moments of sharing and discovery.
